Listen Hear Salon Concerts

Listen Hear is an interactive exhibition for music.

Each program examines a specific way we hear expression and meaning.

Imagine walking into a musician’s living room and witnessing music being written, or artists gathering to explore chamber music…all with food and drink!

We are excited to bring a new season of Listen Hear Salon Concerts to our new venue partner: St. Boniface Episcopal Church on Siesta Key.

 FAQs

  • Every salon concert has a slightly different approach, depending on the featured artist(s) and the topics they have chosen to share. Audiences are given a program and a pencil before finding their seats. The concert begins with an introduction of the artist(s). Artists will speak and perform, using their music to highlight specific ways of listening. Audiences are given opportunities to engage with the artist(s) at specific points in the program, in conversation or Q&A sessions. Programs conclude with the artist(s) and audiences socializing after the performance.
