The Soundbox Fellowship Program returns with a new cohort of resident artists and composer fellows. During the summer, this group is smaller and focuses on concepts of community. This afternoon at the Sarasota Music Archive presents a lecture recital featuring Sarasota premieres of newly commissioned works for violin and piano and the stories of the composers whose creative voices have been shaped and inspired by their experiences in America.
Resident artists Sophia Szokolay (violin) and Baron Fenwick (piano) will engage in a musical dialogue about how the lives of composers and musicians permeate their musical works and performances. The program will include a new work by Soundbox composer faculty Marc Migó.
The event is free but RSVP is required. Click here to RSVP.
